Malaika Arora: You can’t predict things like marriage

Malaika Arora has become an example of what a modern-day woman can achieve on her own terms. Apart from becoming an entrepreneur, a TV show judge, model and starting a number of yoga studios and expanding her fashion and clothing line, she also made news for the dramatic and romantic turn her life took. 

Her beau, actor Arjun Kapoor and she opened up on their relationship and publicly acknowledged their love for each other, but denied rumors of tying the knot with each other.

When we met Malaika recently and asked what her vision for 2020 is and whether marriage features on the ‘to do’ list, she told us, “We have a lot of plans. 

I have to work with my team to expand my business. I really want that to grow and get bigger and better. I have learned that we have to grab opportunities as they come by. Complacency has no place in today’s scheme of things. The year 2019 was good to me because I was not only recognized as a businesswoman but also as a brand. 


That was big. As for marriage, these are not things you can predict. We will go one step at a time. We have been very honest about where we stand, and as and when things move, we will speak about it.”
