Sab Kushal Mangal story:-

A local politician and goon Baba Bhandari (Akshaye Khanna) is in the enterprise of pressured marriages of grooms. He abducts a young TV journalist for one such association but ends up falling in love with the identical girl. But will the bride-to-be reciprocate?

Welcome to Karnalganj – a town where a small-time flesh presser rules big and makes a residing out of fixing marriages forcefully. ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’ attempts to serve up comedy on this tricky plot, but it isn’t funny. The film opens with Akshaye Khanna’s dramatic entry wearing a handle-bar moustache and long locks, searching anything however intimidating. The actor who is in any other case impressive along with his appearing chops attempts tough to make his character work in this humdrum script. He fails to affect here.

Newcomers Priyaank Sharma and Riva Kishan are confident but there is slightly any chemistry between the two. Priyaank suggests a few promise together with his brooding looks but lacks the gusto required for the function of the firebrand journalist Pappu Mishra, who exposes wrongdoings on his show Musibat Odh Li Maine. Riva Kishan fares much better as Mandira, who speaks her mind, but sadly, her individual has no company in terms of making crucial life decisions like marriage.

Talented actors together with Satish Kaushik, Supriya Pathak Kapur and Rakesh Bedi could have been utilised to their complete potential. While the first half of is erratic, the second half of has some conflict, albeit predictable. Some of the scenes related to Akshaye Khanna and his cronies evoke laughter and the overall tone of the film stays light. The song is average and the songs are properly shot, but most of them are untimely placed. This similarly makes the already long runtime of the movie appear to be a drag. 

The background rating is too loud and jarring. The movie’s narrative makes 1/2-hearted attempts at underlining social ills like pressured marriages and dowry, but in no way sincerely takes a solid stand.
What works in opposition to the film isn't always its story however the execution that suffers from susceptible writing and missed opportunities for an impactful social satire
