Ananya Birla's born 17 July 1991 is an Indian singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and mental fitness advocate.
In 2016, Birla signed with Universal Music India. Her first 5 songs hit the hundred and fifty million mark on streaming platforms, with singles "Meant To Be", "Livin the Life", "Hold On", "Circles" and "Better" reaching platinum status. Ananya is the primary Indian artist with the English language single to move platinum in India.
She released her debut EP Fingerprint in May 2019, through UMG and Island Records UK. It included "Blackout" featuring Vector and World, which became one of the first collaborations between major artists from India and Nigeria.
Ananya Birla is the founding father of Svatantra Microfin, a business enterprise that gives microfinance to women in rural India. She is likewise the founding father of CuroCarte and co-founding father of Mpower.
