Politics over Deepika Padukone-starrer and Meghna Gulzar-directed movie 'Chhapaak', has saddened Kunti Soni, an acid attack victim, who labored with the actor inside the film.
"People are mouthing opinion without watching the film. They don't apprehend the pain of an acid attack victim. The movie will inspire the 'daughters' who were given stung by using acid to live again," Soni told media agency.
Narrating her story, Soni said, handiest the individual whose daughter has gone via this, could understand the ache.

Calling Meghna Gulzar 'very courageous', Soni said, "It's difficult to mold the pain of the acid victims into a film. Such movies are inspirations for the society and supply braveness to the acid sufferers. The politics in this movie are unfortunate. Deepika has portrayed the life of an acid victim."Instead of doing politics on this sort of film, Soni said, "The people need to receive it with open heart, due to the fact the movie depicts the horror of an acid victim woman undergoes. After looking at the movie, the society will come to recognize that acid can most effective damage face now not the will."Soni, who studied till class five, become on October 22, 2011, attacked by using her husband with acid suspecting her character. She fought her case within the court, however, didn't lose hope. She is calling after approximately a dozen own family members. Her husband died in an accident in 2017.

"The whole circle of relatives needed to struggle. People made derogatory and insensitive comments on us. I have undergone face surgical operation for 15 times. But none of my in-laws came to peer me during the treatment," Soni said."My parents stood like a rock and did not let my spirit shatter. My father met all the costs of treatment. He even bought his house."During the criminal battle, my legal professional instructed me approximately the Shiraz Cafe. I joined the institution in 2017. It's very encouraging to paintings here. They educate people to transport forward. I am self-reliant now and has a unique identity."

"Though my role within the film is small, it is a matter of pleasure for us to work in it," Soni said.
